One of four suspects wanted in connection with an alleged drug deal gone violent was arrested Friday afternoon by Hattiesburg police.

Jamichael “J-Smoove” Perkins, 23, of Hattiesburg was taken into custody on active arrest warrants around 12:30 p.m. for armed robbery and criminal street gang activity in connection with the shooting that occurred in the 900 block of Dabbs Street last week. 

Perkins has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.

The following individuals are still wanted:

  • Heath “H.A.” Bland, 26, of Sumrall has an active arrest warrant for hindering prosecution.
  • Raymarcus “Smoke Loc” Holliman, 29, of Hattiesburg has active arrest warrants for armed robbery, aggravated assault and criminal street gang activity.
  • Kenny “Skoota Loc” Haynes, 30, of Hattiesburg has active arrest warrants for armed robbery and criminal street gang activity.

Two Pine Belt women were arrested Wednesday and charged in connected with the shooting on Dabbs Street.

Lauren Johnson, 25, of Sumrall was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution, and Hailey Jones, 20, of Hattiesburg was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution and possession of a controlled substance (meth).

The male shooting victim drove himself to a local hospital for treatment.
