Two teens facing murder charges in one shooting death have also been charged in a later shooting on Jan. 12. Those charges came from the Hattiesburg police Tuesday.
A 16-year-old Hattiesburg male and a 15-year-old Gulfport female each face charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit a felony. Eighteen-year-old Kendrick McDuffie of Hattiesburg was charged earlier for his alleged role in the shooting, which occurred in the 1300 block of Corinne Street about 1 a.m. just over three weeks ago.
The two teens are also facing capital murder charges in the shooting death of Jamar Quadracus “Drake” Edwards, who was killed earlier that night.
