A third violent incident in Rawls Springs in two weeks resulted in a juvenile's initial appearance Wednesday on two $50,000 bonds involving two counts of aggravated assault.
This arrest is the result of a shooting Monday evening on Lakewood Loop in the Rawls Springs Community that sent two individuals to the hospital.
“We encourage members of the community to communicate with our department regarding these incidents,” Forrest County Sheriff Charlie Sims said. “We are here to serve the public and are reliant on an open line of communication for our policing to remain effective and proactive.”
