Miss Mississippi 2019 Mary Margaret Hyer received a proclamation congratulating her from the Lamar County Board of Supervisors during Monday’s meeting in Purvis.
Presenting the proclamation were, from left, District 1 Supervisor Steve Lampton, District 3 Supervisor and Board President Joe Bounds, District 2 Supervisor Warren Byrd, Hyer, District 4 Supervisor Phillip Carlisle, and District 5 Supervisor Dale Lucus. Hyer attended Oak Grove High School.
