A 28-year-old Hattiesburg woman was arrested Thursday on multiple drug charges as part of an investigation from April 24 that netted two other drug suspects. Kaylie Nobles was arrested in the 6600 block of Highway 49 at the Econo Lodge as a part of the investigation from the 1900 block of Mamie Street on April 24.
Nobles was served arrest warrants for possession of a controlled substance (meth) with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school/church, possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone) with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school/church, and possession of a stolen weapon.
Nobles also had three new possession of a controlled substance charges added for cocaine, meth and heroin. She was booked into the Forrest County Jail.
In earlier arrests as part of the investigation, Keith Atkins, 28, of Hattiesburg was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth) with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school/church, possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone) with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school/church, two counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a stolen weapon.
Tory Croom, 32, of Hattiesburg was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth) with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school/church, possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone) with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school/church, two counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a stolen weapon.
During the search, 30.7 grams of meth, 20 dosage units of oxycodone, 5.5 dosage units of hydrocodone, 2.1 grams of marijuana, and two handguns (one stolen) were seized.
Atkins and Croom have also been booked in to the Forrest County Jail.
