Two Petal residents have been arrested and are believed to be responsible for thefts in several counties, according to the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy Stewart, 43, and Tamela Hobson, 38, were served with several warrants. Stewart was charged with receiving stolen property and a warrant from Covington County. Hobson was charged with accessory after the fact (warrant), conspiracy to commit a crime (warrant), and receiving stolen goods or more than $500.
Working with other local agencies, investigators recovered several stolen items from numerous counties as well as a Louisiana parish. Both suspects were transported and booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
