Dear Friends of Glory House,
In order to assist our neighbors during this outbreak of COVID-19, we will be distributing bagged meals at drive thru mobile sites Monday-Friday (March 23 - April 17) from 2:00-4:00 p.m. for students and families.
We need your help to make this happen! If you are able to volunteer to help from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on any or all of the dates above, we would be so appreciative. We will follow health/safety guidelines during this time of service. Families will not be allowed to exit their vehicle or park their vehicles in our mobile site area. This is strictly a drive-up, grab-a-bag, and go operation to keep everyone healthy. We need male and female volunteers, but we especially need men who can help with security and traffic/crowd control!

-Dates that you are available to volunteer (weekdays March 23-April 17)
-Name, address and phone number
-Age
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
-Between ages 18-64
-Must fill out Glory House release of liability
-No one sick or immune-compromised
-Must specify the days you can volunteer (we have to know that we have enough)
-Must follow health/safety protocol outlined by Glory House. (Ex. Masks, gloves, cleaning schedule, distance)
-Less than 10 volunteers at each mobile site

2). Boston Park, 2321 Queensburg Avenue, Laurel, MS 39440
Once we receive your “participation response” email, we will email you a few more specifics and your location for this service project.

If you or someone you know can’t physically volunteer at one of our sites, but would like to support during this time of crisis, please see below:
*Make a monetary donation so we can buy needed food and supplies to assist our neighbors & families during this critical time. Go to www.thegloryhouse.org and click the "donate" tab or you can mail a check to: Glory House, PO Box 503, Laurel, MS 39441 [All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent that the law allows].
*If you own a restaurant or food truck and would be willing to help prepare and/or cook meals that will then be handed out to senior adults, children and families, please email us at thegloryhouselaurel@gmail.com and let us know. We need you in the coming days!
*Remember to pray and have your family, church, small group and others to pray! There is power in prayer, and we know God is faithful to answer according to His will!
