Two Hattiesburg brothers were arrested Wednesday after police officers issued a search warrant in connection to an ongoing shooting investigation.
About 3 p.m. Hattiesburg Police searched a home in the 3500 block of Campbell Drive and arrested Christopher Lee Armstrong, 22, and Edward Lee Armstrong III, 25, for a shooting Tuesday in the same area.
Both were arrested and each charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a stolen firearm. No injuries were sustained in the shooting, which resulted in the recovery of two stolen weapons.
The Armstrongs were both booked into the Forrest County Jail.
