(August 10, 2020) – One person has been sent to the hospital after a shooting today in Laurel, according to information released by Laurel Police Department Chief Tommy Cox.
LPD officers responded to the area of the 800 block of West 12th Street on a shooting complaint just after 1:30 p.m. A single victim was transported to SCRMC for treatment, and the investigation remains in its early stages.
