Kedrick Tevon Lee – one of seven suspects wanted in Wednesday’s homicide probe – was arrested Saturday and charged with murder.

Lee, 23, was taken into custody without incident at an apartment on 40th Avenue. He was also charged in connection to a March 31, 2019, armed robbery as well as two counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Police responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Edwards Street around 9:15 p.m. last Wednesday.  Victim Tedarron Price, 27, of Hattiesburg was transported to a local hospital that day and later succumbed to his injuries.

As the investigation progressed, investigators charged six other individuals:

  • Michael Jones Jr., 20, of Hattiesburg has been charged with accessory before the fact of murder, possession of marijuana, and possession of a stolen weapon. 
  • Micharlos James, 30, of Dallas, Texas, has been charged with accessory before the fact of murder.
  • Amber Lee, 20, of Hattiesburg is also being charged with accessory after the fact of murder, as well as accessory before the fact.
  • Lamiracle Mobley, 22, of Hattiesburg has been charged with accessory before the fact of murder.
  • Krishanna Mobley, 20, of Hattiesburg has been charged with accessory before the fact of murder.
  • Jacinta James, 52, of Hattiesburg was charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension in connection to the aiding and abetting of wanted fugitive Kedrick Lee. 

All seven individuals have been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
