A 31-year-old Hattiesburg man was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 25, in an ongoing commercial burglary investigation after the public helped to identify him through photos from the Hattiesburg Police Department.

Gregory Stanley was arrested and charged with three counts of burglary of a building, and fugitive from another jurisdiction through the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

“We would also like to thank the public for their help in identifying the individual through previous photos we released from the 4300 block of Lincoln Road,” police spokesman Ryan Moore said.

“The investigation is still ongoing.”

Stanley was booked into the Forrest County Jail.
