An 18-year-old Hattiesburg man wanted in the March 13 shooting investigation on Parkdale Drive was arrested by Hattiesburg police officers Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
Christopher Wheeler was arrested in the 1700 block of West Seventh Street about noon Tuesday. He had active arrest warrants in connection to a March 13 shooting that occurred in the 200 block of Parkdale Drive.
The victim, a 20-year-old male, was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries.
Wheeler has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
