A two-car collision on Highway 28 near the Gitano Grill sent four individuals to the hospital Friday afternoon just after 1:00 p.m. Soso, Hebron and Calhoun volunteer fire departments responded to the incident which left the highway completely blocked and traffic slowed for over an hour.
Reportedly weather played a part in causing the incident, with one of the vehicles hydroplaning. The vehicles sustained moderate damage.
Emserv Ambulance Service transported four persons with minor to moderate injuries to the emergency room. MHP was also on scene, as well as Officer Stephen Todd with Soso PD.
