Two Hattiesburg residents were charged Tuesday with hindering prosecution in the investigation of a Dec. 15 shooting incident in the 400 block of Seventh Street near Mobile Street.
Phillip Little, 20, and Raven Odie, 24, were arrested by Hattiesburg police and Forrest County Metro Task Force agents. The search warrant that was issued in support of the arrests turned up a firearm, marijuana and ecstasy.
Other charges for each suspect include possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy) with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm within 1,500 feet of a church and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm within 1,500 feet of a church.
The investigation is still ongoing.
