A Hattiesburg man in federal custody was charged with murder Thursday in the 2019 shooting death of 21-year-old Frederick “O’Neal” Paige Jr. Another man has an active arrest warrant for second-degree murder in the investigation.
Sternell “KayNine” Johnson has now been charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of Paige, who was killed at 20 Broadacres Drive near Club Nina’s on May 19, 2019.
Nykeus Samson, 22, of Jasper County has an active arrest warrant for second-degree murder, in connection to the investigation as well, according to Ryan Moore, Hattiesburg Police Department Public Information Officer.
