Agents Jake Driskell, Jeff Monk and Joel Brogan of the Jones County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division confiscated approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine on Tuesday, Feb. 4 near Ellisville.

The officers executed a search warrant at 1314 Highway 29 North on Tuesday afternoon about 5:00. According to Sgt. Driskell, 3.5 grams of methamphetamine were allegedly found on resident Donald Allen Lamb, and another 12 grams were allegedly discovered on a kitchen counter inside the dwelling. A felony amount is .2 grams.

“He was a wanted fugitive,” said Driskell. “He had a bench warrant out for his arrest due to his failure to contact his attorney on another felony charge.”

Lamb had his bond revoked and is scheduled to appear before Circuit Judge Dal Williamson later this week.

No weapons were found during the drug seizure.
