The victim of a Tuesday afternoon shooting in the Hub City has been identified as 26-year-old Corey Chatman of Hattiesburg, Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict said Wednesday morning.
Benedict said Chatman’s body was transferred to Jackson for an autopsy.
Hattiesburg law enforcement officials said the shooting occurred about 3 pm. Tuesday, Aug. 13, Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Broadway Drive.
