A 25-year-old Hattiesburg man has been charged Thursday with discharging a firearm in the 1000 block of Turtle Creek Drive on Nov. 16.
Earnest Mays has been charged with discharging a firearm in the city limits and prohibiting reckless endangerment of persons – both misdemeanors - in connection with the Nov. 16 incident.
The incident was isolated and stemmed from a previous verbal altercation with another individual.
