The first patient death from COVID-19 was recorded Wednesday in the Forrest Health system, officials announced.
The elderly patient passed away at Forrest General Hospital. No further details were available Wednesday afternoon from FGH officials.
“We want to express our deepest sympathy to the patient’s family during this time of loss,” the FGH news release stated.
