Jones County Sheriff's Department wanted subject Donnie "Coot" Jefcoat has surrendered himself to the Jones County Sheriff's Department in the past hour. Jefcoat is being charged with grand larceny and is being booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Facility in Ellisville at this time. Jefcoat was the third person from Friday that JCSD investigators were seeking on unrelated charges. All three are now in custody.
Sheriff Joe Berlin notes, "Our deputies and investigators initiated a full court press to keep the pressure on the three wanted subjects. Whether captured or surrendered, they all three are now in custody to face their charges.'
Berlin concluded, "When it comes to searching for those who are wanted on criminal charges, we don't play. Three up, three down and we aren't finished yet."
