Because Hattiesburg city offices and departments will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday, garbage, trash and recycling services will be changed for this week.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday - Garbage (green cans) routinely collected on Mondays, and recycling (blue cans) for Wards 1 and 2.
Tuesday - Garbage (green cans) routinely collected on Tuesdays, and recycling (blue cans) for Ward 3.
Wednesday - Trash (brown cans) routinely collected on Wednesday and Thursday, and recycling (blue cans) for Wards 4 and 5.
