Severe Storms Possible Wednesday

According to Jones County EMA Executive Director Paul Sheffield, Jones County and surrounding counties have been moved into the "Slight Risk" threat level for severe storms Wednesday by the National Weather Service in Jackson. 

"With these storms we could see damaging wind gusts, hail, and tornadoes are possible," said Sheffield in a weather update email. 

Today is the day to make preparations for severe weather.  As information is received, we will provide updates.
