This past Sunday, Jan. 26, at approximately 7:48 p.m., Laurel Police Department officers responded to 1108 Ellisville Boulevard, the Budget Inn, in reference to an assault complaint. It was reported that Sanchez Chase D. Patton had assaulted a female with his fists and had shot into her vehicle.
No significant injuries were reported. Patton was arrested at the scene and transported to Jones County jail for the charge of aggravated domestic assault. Patton had his initial appearance in Laurel Municipal Court where his bond was set at $50,000.
