According to Paul Sheffield, Jones County Emergency Management Executive Director, the National Weather Service in Jackson has placed Jones County and surrounding counties in our area in the "Enhanced Risk" for Friday evening through Saturday morning.
"All modes of severe weather are possible with this event," warns Sheffield. "The weather service should have a little better timing tomorrow."
