Billy Madden of Forrest County was taken into custody by Forrest County Deputies on Thursday and turned over to Hattiesburg Police because of an earlier grand larceny investigation.
Madden, 18, has been charged with grand larceny in connection to the incident in the 6500 block of Highway 49 about 4:30 a.m. on July 9.
Madden has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
