Jones County, MS - Sandersville, Sharon, M & M and Powers volunteer fire departments responded to 60 Haney Road outside Sandersville for a fire in a compost shed at Haney Hill farms.
The fire was discovered about 4:35 a.m. Saturday morning in the shed which was close to the farm's chicken houses and was reported to authorities shortly thereafter. Upon arrival of the first responding fire apparatus, the building was fully involved and sustained major damage in the incident.
Emserv Ambulance Service was also on scene. No injuries were reported.
