FORE! Watch out below because the golf balls will soon be falling in the 16th Annual Golf Ball Drop to benefit The Arc Southeast MS. Some lucky winner who purchases a golf ball for only $100 will win $20,000!
On Nov 2, hundreds of numbered golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter onto a hole at Canebrake Golf Club. The owner of the golf ball that lands in the hole or closest to it will win the grand prize of $20,000!
Golf balls may be purchased by calling 601-583-4251 or by visiting www.hattiesburgarc.com. Golf balls will be on sale by mail until October 20, online until 12:00 pm on November 2, and they may be purchased at Canebrake Club house up to 1 hour prior to the event.
The Golf Ball Drop is the largest fundraiser of the year for The Arc, a non-profit organization which provides a variety of services for individuals with developmental disorders and their families.
