On Tuesday, July 30 in Laurel just after 5:00 a.m., Laurel Police Department officers responded to the Exxon Station located at 320 South 16th Ave. on a strong-arm type robbery complaint.
It was reported that a black male suspect had stolen an undisclosed amount of money from the location. About an hour later the same suspect attempted the same action at the Shell Station located at 3200 Audubon Drive. There were no injuries reported from either incident. The LPD seeks information as to the identity of the suspect and/or any suspicious activity in the area at the times of the incidents. The suspect’s face is partially covered in a photo taken at one of the stations.
