A 31-year-old Hattiesburg man was arrested Thursday by Hub City police officers after an ongoing investigation involving sexual battery.
Thomas Chatman was arrested in the 200 block of Katie Avenue and charged with touching for lustful purposes and sexual battery of a child under the age of 14.
Ryan Moore, of the Hattiesburg Police Department Public Information Center, said the incident occurred in January 2020 at a residence in Hattiesburg. Chatman was booked into the Forrest County Correctional Complex.
