Cross at UMC

The cross in front of the First United Methodist Church of Laurel fell last week, apparently pushed over by the wind and landing just as shown. One courthouse employee commented, “It’s in the position that Jesus carried his cross.” The Easter holiday will be celebrated April 21. Photo/Kevin Williamson
