Hattiesburg police patrolling Ellis Drive at Plantation Place Apartments arrested an individual with a stolen weapon about 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. This began a two-day investigation that led to four arrests, eight guns, and cash.
David Richardson, 18, of Hattiesburg was charged with possession of a stolen weapon and booked into the Forrest County Jail.
Chadrick Daniels, 24, of Hattiesburg was charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and five counts of providing false information to law enforcement-misdemeanor.
As the investigation continued, Hattiesburg police arrested two other individuals at Plantation Place Apartments early Friday, Sept. 13.
Damion Foster, 24, of Hattiesburg was charged with possession/sale of a stolen firearm. Foster was booked into the Forrest County Jail. Arnell Mitchell Jr., 19, of Laurel was charged with disorderly conduct-failure to comply (misdemeanor) and possession of paraphernalia (misdemeanor).
The investigation is ongoing.
