Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020, for Mr. William Perry Prentiss, age 57, of Richton, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton. Mr. Prentiss passed away on November 8, 2020 at Perry County General Hospital.
Bro. Jack Daughdrill will officiate the service with burial to follow in the Edwards Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Brewer, Tyler Brewer, James Watson, Bryan Shimp, Curtis Woodard and Troy Brasher.
Mr. Prentiss was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood and Ellen Prentiss; sister, Dorothy Prentiss; son, Edward Byrd.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Byrd of Richton; son, Ethan Corey Prentiss of Richton; brothers, Doug (Marie) Prentiss of Wiggins, Bobby (Jean) Prentiss of Richton, Gary (Roberta) Prentiss of Leakesville; and sister, Mary Lois Gillie of Runnelstown.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020, 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton.
