The 14th Annual Historic Mobile Street Renaissance Festival is a free two-day event (October 4-5) celebrating the rich artistic cultural history of Mobile Street, which is the acclaimed birthplace of Rock and Roll and a hub of Mississippi Blues. This is a family friendly festival that provides top notch entertainment and a myriad of other activities. It is one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year, and it’s expected to be patronized by thousands of people from near and around Hattiesburg - it’s the pride of the city!

The festival extends beyond music, even though its main attraction is the Blues stage, which features an array of legendary blues artists such as T-Bone Pruitt and young artists such as Zach Koch. An art gallery, in conjunction with the festival, will highlight contemporary artists. In addition, the festival is hosting the Sho’Nuff BBQ Cook Off, a Bike Show, an Art Walk, and Gospel performances full of electrifying praising. If that isn’t enough there will be a Sweet Potato Pie and Pound Cake contest. There will also be an opportunity for November 2019 political candidates to address the community during a special political open forum Q & A.

There is still time to be a part of this year’s amazing 14th Annual Mobile Street Festival, but spaces are limited. Contact Twin Forks Rising CDC at 601-818-5588 or www.mobilestreetfestival.com to secure booths, sponsorship opportunities, and to register for festival activities and competition.
